What a summer! Between the long Spring, the flooded fields, the sudden heat of the summer, animal shortages, and illness, we have watched God move in every single moment. God is faithful, and He reminds us of His faithfulness is all things. Since May, on the last Friday of each month, we host a Church Service on the Farm, called (and hopefully its not a surprise to anybody) Church on the Farm.
Church on the Farm is a non-denominational worship service where we fellowship with one another, sing fun church camp songs, roast s’mores, play games, and hear a message of hope in Christ Jesus. While the other aspects of this Farm Ministry are very crucial and wonderful to be a part of, Church on the Farm remains our most favorite part of the ministry.
The theme for each of the messages from Church on the Farm can be summed with Isaiah 41:10. In this passage, God speaks to us and tells us to not fear that He will uphold us and strengthen us. Many of those that have come to Farm Day have testified to God’s faithfulness. Others that have come were enduring tragedy and hardship and needed to hear and be reminded that God upholds us with His righteous right hand. That He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us that we might have life and have it abundantly.
Officially, Church on the Farm runs from May through September. Meaning that this Friday is the last Church on the Farm for the season. I encourage you, come on out for some Merrywhether Farm Fun, food, fellowship, and time with Jesus.
The doors open at 7PM and we hope to see you all you here. On the last Church on the Farm of the season, we will be having a special service with communion. By all means, please come on out for a special night on the Farm.
